As the leader in health and safety training for more than 90 years, the American Red Cross is today’s premier provider of first aid, CPR, water safety, swimming lessons, caregiving training, babysitter’s training and other health and safety education programs. Developed in conjunction with medical and aquatics experts, each program delivers the latest information and lifesaving techniques.
In Every City, In Every Community, the Red Cross is There Because You Are
Each year, victims of some 70,000 disasters turn to the Red Cross for help. Through more than 800 locally supported chapters, 15 million people gain the skills they need to prepare for and respond to emergencies in their workplaces, homes, schools and communities. Some 4 million people give blood—the gift of life—through the Red Cross, making it the largest supplier of blood and blood products in the United States . The Red Cross helps thousands of U.S. service members separated from their families by military duty stay connected. As part of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, a global network of 181 national societies, the Red Cross helps restore hope and dignity to the world's most vulnerable people. All of these essential services are made possible by the voluntary services, blood and tissue donations, and financial support of the American people.
American Red Cross training such as CPR and first aid helps everyday people save lives. Through your participation in our health and safety programs, you enable the American Red Cross to provide lifesaving programs and services within our community. We truly value your support!
Attention Businesses:
We offer American Red Cross training on site, or you can send select employees to attend “train-the-trainer” courses, preparing them to provide first aid, CPR and AED training to other staff members. Red Cross workplace safety training is the complete emergency preparedness solution that’s smart for your employees and your bottom line. In fact, studies cited by the Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) show a $4 to $6 return for every dollar invested in health and safety training, with improvements in the costs associated with absenteeism, Workers’ Compensation claims and productivity. With comprehensive, flexible programs, Red Cross training helps employees stay prepared for virtually any life-threatening situation and meets OSHA First Aid Guidelines.
Note: A fee of $10.00 will be assessed should you miss a class, have to reschedule a class or cancel a class. If the American Red Cross reschedules your class, you will not be charged. All fees are non-refundable.
